Shea Oil offers all of the beneficial properties of Shea Butter as it is obtained by fractionating it to separate the olein (liquid) and the stearin (solid) parts. Shea Oil is ideal for use in cosmetics due to its high content of unsaponifiables, UV absorbing properties and essential fatty acid triglycerides. This oil may also be used in formulations for liquid soaps, sun care products, hand and body lotions, first aid creams, bath oils, ointments, and more.

The industry norm is to sell all vegetable, nut, fragrance oils, and essential oils by weight. This is the way we purchase them from our distributors as well. Do not be concerned if your bottle is not completely full as the level may differ due to the viscosity of the liquid. However, all oils are measured correctly.
